Ambulance Victoria responded to an incident in Lara shortly after 7:00 pm last night.

An emergency call was made for an 11-year-old boy who suffered burns to his face and arm after spraying an aerosol can into a potbelly stove.

Paramedics treated the boy before transferring him to a helicopter at the Lara football oval, which airlifted him to the Royal Children’s Hospital.

His in a stable condition. No fire response was needed.
