Geelong Highway Patrol officers are investigating a rollover crash involving a stolen vehicle in Lovely Banks on July 31.

Reports indicate that the driver of a stolen grey Toyota Hilux lost control, causing the vehicle to roll over around 4 p.m.

The driver, a 17-year-old boy from Norlane, was airlifted to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A 20-year-old woman from Corio and a 15-year-old boy from Wyndham Vale were also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

All three are currently receiving medical care and will be interviewed by investigators in the near future.

The investigation is ongoing, with police suspecting the Toyota was stolen from a Lovely Banks location in late July.
