Police are investigating a suspicious fire that broke out in North Geelong early Tuesday, 8 October.
Emergency services responded to reports of a blaze at a unit on Coxon Parade around 2:15 a.m.,
leading to the evacuation and assessment of nearby residents by ambulance crews.
A 63-year-old North Geelong man was taken into custody at the scene but has since been released as inquiries continue.
A crime scene was established, and investigations are ongoing.
